Similarly, Hurling, an Irish traditional sport, involves two teams of 15 players each trying to hit a ball using a wooden club and to score goals by passing the ball over the opposing team’s goalpost.

In Canada and the United States, ice hockey is a popular traditional sport that involves two teams of six players each trying to hit a puck into the opposing team’s net using hockey sticks.
