In addition to its core functions, the ODNI has several specialized centers that focus on specific areas of intelligence. For example, the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) is responsible for analyzing and integrating intelligence related to terrorism. The National Counterproliferation Center (NCPC) is focused on preventing the spread of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons.
