And why does He not intervene when innocent people suffer as a result of someone else’s free will?
The Problem of Evil remains a complex issue in philosophy, with no easy answers. While there are various responses that attempt to reconcile the existence of evil with the existence of a benevolent God, none of them are entirely without flaws. Ultimately, the Problem of Evil is a reminder of the limitations of human knowledge and understanding, and the need for humility in the face of life’s deepest mysteries.
