Progression- A program that incorporates progressive overload- or gradually increasing the intensity, volume, or complexity of workouts -is more likely to produce positive outcomes than one that does not. This is because it forces the body to adapt to new challenges, resulting in improved fitness outcomes.

3. Consistency- Consistency is key in any fitness program. A program that is followed consistently over time is more likely to produce positive outcomes than a program that is followed sporadically. This is because the body needs time to adapt to new stimuli, and consistency allows for gradual progress over time.

4. Individualization- Finally, a program that is tailored to an individual’s unique needs, goals, and abilities is more likely to produce positive outcomes than a one-size-fits-all approach. This is because individuals have different starting points, strengths, and weaknesses, and need to follow programs that are specifically designed to address these factors.

In conclusion, the principles of natural selection are highly relevant when it comes to fitness outcomes.
