Chocolate chip cookies are a classic recipe that everyone loves. Whether you’re new to baking or a seasoned pro, making the perfect batch of chocolate chip cookies is a must. Here’s how:

Ingredients:
– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tsp baking soda
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 3/4 cup white sugar
– 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
– 2 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 large eggs
– 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. Using an electric mixer, cream together softened butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until well blended.
4. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
5. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing the dough balls about 2 inches apart.
7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
