Growing up, I attended schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). My experience in LAUSD not only provided me with a solid education but also helped me develop into who I am today. As a former student, I reflect on how my time in LAUSD fueled my personal growth.

One of the first things that stood out to me in LAUSD was the diverse community.
