Another instrument, the Near Infrared Camera (NIRCam), can detect light from the earliest galaxies, providing insight into the universe’s formation.

The James Webb Telescope is also equipped with advanced sunshield technology. The shield comprises five layers that can reduce the telescope’s temperature to under 50 degrees Celsius, ensuring it remains cold to detect faint infrared signals. Additionally, the telescope’s orbiting position will ensure minimal interference from light pollution, providing accurate data analysis.
