Enlightenment is a state of mind that is often associated with profound wisdom, inner peace and bliss. It is a state of being that most spiritual seekers aspire towards, but few truly attain. However, one of the paths towards reaching enlightenment is through the practice of loving-kindness.
Loving-kindness, or metta meditation, is a form of Buddhist meditation that aims to cultivate a sense of universal love and kindness towards all beings. By dissolving the ego and cultivating a sense of universal love and compassion, one can begin to experience a deeper connection to the Divine and all beings. Through this practice, one can begin to realize that enlightenment is not some far-off goal, but a state of being that is available in every moment.
