Brazilian cuisine is a mix of African, European, and Indigenous influences and is famous for its churrasco (barbecue) and feijoada (bean stew).

India is a country that is known for its diversity in culture, language, and food. It is the birthplace of yoga and ayurveda, and Indian classical music and dance are also famous. Indian cuisine is colorful, flavorful, and diverse. From the spicy biryani to the sweet gulab jamun, there is a wide range of options to satisfy any palate.

The traditional owners of the land, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, have a rich culture that is ancient and unique. Australian cuisine is a mix of influences, the most famous being the meat pie, barbecue, and lamingtons (sponge cake covered in chocolate and coconut).

5. France
France is famous for its art, fashion, and culinary traditions. French cuisine is known for its complex preparations and delicate flavors. French cheeses, wines, and bread are also world-famous. The French language and literature have also had a significant influence on Western culture.

6. China
China has a rich culture that dates back over 5,000 years. The Chinese language, calligraphy, and painting are all famous for their complexity and beauty. Chinese cuisine is diverse, with eight regional cuisines that vary in flavour and ingredients. The martial art of kung fu, which originated in Shaolin Temple, is also famous.

Mexico is known for its vibrant and colorful culture. Mexican cuisine is a blend of Mesoamerican and Spanish influences, and is famous for its tacos, guacamole, and tequila. Mariachi music, traditional clothing, and dance are all part of Mexican culture and are recognised worldwide.

South Africa is a melting pot of cultures, with eleven official languages that reflect its diverse heritage. The country’s cuisine is a mix of exotic flavors that reflects its rich cultural history. South Africa also has a rich musical culture, with styles such as mbaqanga, maskandi, and kwaito, which is unique to the country.
