As we enter into the sixth week of the third quarter of 2021, it’s a good time to take stock of our health and wellness goals. Whether you’ve been slacking off or simply need some new ideas to switch things up, these 5 simple ways can help you boost your health and feel great.

1. Get Moving
Exercise is one of the best things you can do for your body, both physically and mentally. Whether you prefer running, yoga, weightlifting, or something else entirely, make sure you’re doing some form of physical activity at least a few times a week. Set a realistic goal for yourself and work to achieve it.

2. Eat Well
What you put into your body can have a big impact on how you feel. Focus on eating a variety of whole foods – fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats – and limit your intake of processed foods and sugar. Meal planning can be a great way to stay on track and save time.

3. Sleep More
Sleep is critical for our physical and mental health, yet many of us don’t prioritize it. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night and make sure your sleep environment is conducive to rest – a cool and dark room, comfortable bed, and limited screen time before bed can all help.

4. Manage Your Stress
Stress can take a toll on our bodies and minds, so finding ways to manage it is key. Whether it’s meditation, deep breathing, exercise, or talking with a friend, experiment with different techniques to see what works for you. Remember that taking small breaks throughout the day can also help alleviate stress.

5. Connect with Others
Human connections are important for our mental and emotional well-being, so make sure you’re taking the time to connect with others in meaningful ways. This might mean scheduling a weekly coffee date with a friend, joining a club or group that interests you, or volunteering in your community.

Remember that making small changes over time can lead to big results when it comes to our health and wellness. Don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things – find what works for you and stick with it. Here’s to a healthier Q3 Week 6 and beyond!
