Doug Engelbart invented the first mouse, which was created in 1963. It was made of wood, and it looked nothing like today’s mice, which have a ball inside.

3. The first webcam was created to monitor coffee
The first webcam was installed in a computer lab at the University of Cambridge, and it was created in 1991 to monitor the coffee pot level from one location to another.

4. The first iPhone had no app store
In 2007, when the first iPhone was created, there was no app store. There were only pre-installed apps, and you could not download any new ones. In 2008 the app store was officially launched.

5. The first computer virus was a prank
In 1983, the first computer virus was created, named Elk Cloner, which is on the Apple II computer. The creator of the virus made it as a prank and shared it with his friends.
