8. Tech 9’s sudden death at the age of 47 on March 24th, 2019, was surrounded by controversy, with some speculating that he may have taken his own life. However, his official cause of death was ruled as complications from pneumonia.

9. Tech 9’s legacy continues to influence the hip-hop community, with many artists citing him as an inspiration to their own work.

10. In honor of Tech 9’s contributions to the music industry, a mural was commissioned in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri, featuring his likeness and lyrics from his song “Caribou Lou.”
